John Summit’s new album that just came out is the first pick on my summer playlist. “Don’t Believe It” by John Summit and Absolutely.

What about it  makes you think of summer?

It reminds me of a sunny day. It puts me in a really good mood. I really enjoy how it makes me feel. If you’re having a crappy day or if it’s cloudy, you can still throw it on and have a fun, uplifting time.

KATIE MOQUIST

“Gypsy” by Fleetwood Mac.

Why this song?

It’s just one of my favorite songs. I don’t know why, but every time it comes on, I just start to vibe with it. It’s just my jam right now.

CODY TUATHADE

“Last Night” by Morgan Wallen.

Why this song?

It’s just such a good and chill vibe. Summer night, you’re on a big road chillin’, you’re talking about yesterday and driving back home.

TYSON RISTAU

“leaving home” by Camylio.

What is special about this song?

The reason I chose this one is because I listened to it the first time I drove across the country. I road tripped last summer, all the way from Spokane down to Orlando, Florida, for the Disney College Program. I got to see the whole country, and it was amazing.

MATT LEWIS

Well, definitely some Red Hot Chili Peppers, and then every once in a while, I’ve got to listen to some Dr. Dre.

Why do these artists remind you of summer?

The Red Hot Chili Peppers are just happy, alternative music. It reminds me of growing up and road trippin’. I really like “Californication.” As for Dr. Dre, “Still D.R.E.”  has gotta be one of my favorite beats.
